JB update

Remember JB? The scrawny little orphan who was rescued from the orphanage this past summer? In the care of his foster parents he has been thriving! Finally, after weeks of being refused because of his health, he recently had eye surgery for his congenital glaucoma and cataracts. However, because he was nearly seven months old by the time the operation occurred, his prognosis for good vision is not good – there are doubts about whether he’ll be able to see well at all, but we can hope and pray.

Meanwhile, he’s looking pretty spiffy in his new spectacles! Keep lifting him up!

  1. We will be praying for little JB. He does look spiffy in his spectacles.

We had a good time with all the kids Thanksgiving. Everyone is doing well. Nathan, our autistic grandson, is thriving and accomplishing so much. He was just 10. He loves to play the piano.

We are praying for you. Hugs, Karen

  2. Remember JB? Of course! I had wanted to hear more about him for some time. He looks healthy and alert and so cute in his glasses! This makes my day.
